Customer service needs improvement. Went to pick up my pre-paid vehicle at noon 3/25 and they were closed. I called corporate at 12:04 pm and was directed to go to the Bloomington location to pick-up. I went to return the vehicle today 4/8 in Hopkins and told the manager my experience on 3/25 and suggested they call customers to give them notice that the Hopkins location closes early. The manager was defensive and claimed I wasn't there at 12pm, he was there until 12:08, he could prove he was there by some printout he made, claimed he called me at 10am on 3/25 but the number was not in service, and pretty much I was wrong. I asked what number her called and he couldn't provide any information stating it was 2 weeks ago. It was so ridiculous that I started laughing. I wasn't looking for any discounts or refunds. I just wanted to share my experience for better customer service in the future. Btw I had a really good experience at the Blooming location.

I've used this Budget Location for many years now and will continue to use and recommend in future. The service is always excellent, the cars are well maintained and the location is extremely convenient for me. Mike Farrell does a great job in making you feel like a special customer and takes great care in understanding your needs and expectations.

Farrell was very welcoming, got us in our car and explained everything within 15 minutes. Our minivan was showroom clean and quite comfortable for the week.

He had attitude, texted while the computer was processing, and never once offered a smile or attempted to be understanding of the difficult situation we were in.

He offered NO HELP to find an easy solution. Mind you, she paid over 700$ to make this happen and he refused to be accommodating IN ANY WAY.

The customer service agent was AWFUL to my sister, my mother and myself. My mother made a reservation online and pre-paid for a car. We went to pick it up and they told us that even though the care was paid for in full, we couldn't take it without the credit card on file. My mother and her credit card were NOT in town and there would be no way for us to get it.

I am so disappointed and am currently on the phone with Budget's Customer Service and THEY are no help, either.

After having me start a NEW reservation and NOT REFUNDING MY MOTHERS MONEY - he rented me a car that ABSOLUTELY STINKS of marijuana. There is NO getting around it. The interior hasn't been vacuumed or cleaned and it smells so strongly, my eyes watered.

The advance booking discount made it an especially good value.

Nothing fancy, but had good service and was open when I needed a car
