fixed , which was not and told that I needed Steering gear and hoses for the sum of $1799.33 . I then took my car over to Affordable and Dan repaired it for $165.89 with just O Ring Seals . I will never go to anyone but Affordable Auto Service.
To top it all off when I show up to pick my car up, the keys they "believe" are for my car won't open the door and the key fob won't unlock the car but they swear they're my keys and that now there's just something wrong with my car keys!!! I'm guessing they will probably say that this problem is unrelated to the work they did! Keys worked fine when I dropped the car off.
Brought my car in to have the front and rear windshield replaced. When I got it back, water had started to pool on the car floors. Told them about the problem and they're response is that it's somehow unrelated to the work they did but they can't actually tell me what the problem is and how it would be fixed.
The 97 Blazer has had two minor accidents and 21 MN winters. Needless to say it has needed some major work over the past 3 years. They have always given us quality service even for a vehicle that age.
Dan and Todd are the greatest and are honest guys to work with. Best prices and will not try to talk you into some repair you do not need. Have many experiences with this shop and our family has used them for years.
I have brought my truck in many times, and every time they have done A+ work! They have really fast and friendly service, and have always got the job done right- I have never had any complaints!
If you have an extended warranty, this is the place to go. They won't jack up a bunch of unnecessary work, hijack your car and send you off with a rental like many dealerships do...that is what the Honda dealership tried to do after an oil change. They told my wife the car wasn't safe to drive with wore rear brake pads and she would need to leave it...allows them to charge for a rental. SOOOOOO glad we got out of there and took it to Affordable Auto.
the other cars we have had repairs minor and major have also been what was needed for a marketable price. No they aren't as cheap as Cheapo Tire and auto, but I don't go there because they undersell and they have some tech instead of an actual mechanic replace my Ignition switch!
Awesome family owned shop. Todd and the crew were great to work with and give you honest advice/service at a very affordable price. They will also work with you based on your budget, identifying what "has" to be done versus what "should" be done.
I'm actually sitting in their lobby writing this because I can't leave. They can't produce my keys!
They have had some jobs that were cash heavy but necessary and they have more than once told us a repair was considerably less involved than we thought. Good deal on tires when we needed also.
They get 2 stars for having enough integrity to at least look at the problem even though they won't fix it or the water damaged caused by it.
I was taken in by the "Free oil Change " by a local Dealer and it has cost me plenty. Recently I was needed a Oil change and power steering leak
Have a Chevy Blazer that is old enough to graduate college this year. Affordable has done all our work since two other shops in town totally destroyed my old chevy S10 while charging me $4000 to replace the steering column and all the subsequent repairs.
