For the love of cars, shopping local, the entire sport of baseball, and particularly, the Minnesota Twins. Please stop. Just stop.
PLEASE STOP PLAYING YOUR STUPID COMMERCIALS WITH THE GUY SINGING! YOU'RE RUINING THE MN TWINS' SEASON! I live in California now and look forward to watching my beloved Twins' games. Your commercials make me NEVER want to follow Minnesota sports. Good god. I don't know if you thought you were being funny or clever... Trust me- and many of mine... you failed dearly. I can't even imagine the moment someone pitched this horrendous idea of a commercial. Even more, I can't imagine the person who actually green lit this TERRIBLE, brand killing, team killing, stateshood killing idea.
Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They left things in the car when I received it, did not give me a copy of my warranty agreement, and did not give me information for the car wash procedure as part of their "buy happy" deal. When I returned two days later to get my first car wash, I was informed I didn't have the proper set up to get the car washed, but thankfully, did get good customer service when a technician drove through the wash and explained the procedure. However, the antennae broke off in the wash and they were not willing to cover the cost of putting it back on, even through I was not the one driving the car and it was 2 days after my purchase. I had to call and email for weeks after to get any responses. I have been trying to get a refund on my "Buy Happy" and have been calling and emailing for two months with absolutely no follow-up. I have been completely ignored. I will never go to Morrie's ever again. I have heard so many similarly terrible experiences that I wish I would have heard before I purchased my car. Save yourself the trouble and absent customer service and go somewhere that will actually respond and care.
Your commercial with the salesman and manger laughing in the background shows exactly what carbuyers hate. I've produced commercials for over 19 years and I would be proud top put this on my resume. Now whether Mories follows/does what the commercial implies, we'll see. Great commercial!
After experiencing Morries in comparison to other car dealerships, I have nothing to brag about. One sales person Dawn, was very kind and informative, though others were very demanding about purchasing a car on the spot, rather than giving me the chance to do my homework and see all my options, including those at other dealerships. I felt the focus was more on making the sale than respecting my wishes as a customer... very dissatisfied!
Update: Just figured out they wiped my old key fobs so now I can't use them to open my doors or trunk. Yet another trip back.
Extremely disappointed with the parts department. Had to order an ignition switch and was never informed it arrived, never informed the keys had to be reprogrammed, or that the car had to be there for them to reprogram them. Had to hot-wire my own car to get it to them. After four trips back and forth and a week of messing around, finally had my car running.
Even if you were going for, " it's so annoying and off key that people will remember it and our brand"- you FAILED. In a sense. I REMEMBER Morrie's. I remember their commercials. And it made me prolifically hate them. And this is not singular. I have only made this review/post after having over 30 MN locals agree. Maybe that's minuscule to your demographic. But in my mind, your blood boiling commercials just dissuaded 30 different FAMILIES (and all of their 7 degrees of separation) away from your business.
